The Clinical Executive Fast Track Scheme is a 36-month talent scheme

The scheme offers:

  • A high quality, bespoke, 12-month long multi professional development leadership programme
  • Access to coaching/mentoring and in-place support
  • Uni-professional training and development (where appropriate)
  • In-organisation development such as stretch opportunities, secondments, shadowing and mentoring
  • Talent management including:
    • Sponsorship from the scheme Advisory Board members
    • Coaching and mentoring
    • Learning sets after 12 months
    • Career transition support from NHS Executive Search

The scheme enables clinical leaders to develop commercial and financial skills as well as board readiness to equip them to progress into a variety of key leadership roles at executive level or equivalent in the NHS and wider health and care system.
