How has this made you think about your ‘wobbles’ or being your whole self as a manager and team leader?
To what extent do you feel able to say ‘I don’t know’ and ‘I am sorry’? Has this talk altered how you may respond in the future?
What ideas do you have for bringing this into your work life?

I found the Empathy vs. Sympathy video (Brene Brown) really emotive, and a great way to understand the difference. I use it in communication training sessions

Empathy is an important skill as a leader; showing your team members empathy allows you to build a deeper understanding of each individual, leading to improved communication and trust. Taking time to listen and showing an interest to understand will help your team to feel supported.
