Cyber Security Technologist – Level 4 (with Edward Jenner)

As a Cyber Security Technologists, you will acquire an understanding of security concepts and technology and how to mitigate risks arising from threats. Applying your knowledge and understanding of cyber security to protect organisations, systems, information, personal data and people from attacks and unauthorised access.

The Cyber Security Technologist standard has two succinct routes with the provider QA, outlined below.

Cyber Risk Analyst: Safeguard your organisation from attacks and unauthorised access. Support formal security governance and compliance; risk assessment, analysis, advice on risk mitigations, deliver advanced technical training and ensure the security of the organisation.

Cyber Security Engineer: A technology focussed role which will typically design, build and test secure networks or security products or systems with a particular focus on the security aspects of the design. Understanding of threats, hazards, controls and mitigations, learning through hands-on experience simulating real cyber threats to Protect your organisation.

Duration: 19 – 24 months.

Through the provider QA, you can explore two routes to this apprenticeship standard: NHS Cyber Risk Analyst Level 4 or NHS Cyber Security Engineer Level 4.
