A software development technician typically works as a junior member of a software development team, to assist with all aspects of software, web, mobile and desktop application design and coding using a wide range of skills. You’ll gain expertise in tools that cater to all areas of the software development life-cycle; code, programme, develop apps, work with databases and design front-end applications, as well as the workplace skills to prioritise, manage tasks and follow correct processes.
Duration: 15 – 18 months.
