Service and maintenance engineers play a key role in planning and completing a range of maintenance work. They carry out scheduled preventative maintenance as well as any required remedial or corrective repairs. These engineers use building and energy management systems to monitor and manage the operation of our premises and equipment.
This apprenticeship combines the NHS Leadership Academy’s Edward Jenner programme with a level three building services engineering technician apprenticeship.
As part of the apprenticeship programme, you will also complete the BTEC level three diploma in construction and the built environment (building services engineering) qualification.

Entry requirements
Employers will set their own entry requirements, but apprentices will be expected to have at least five GCSEs at grades A*-C/9-4 including maths (Grade B/6), English and science or their equivalent before they enrol.
If you do not have the equivalent of level two in English and maths, you will be required to complete this as part of their apprenticeship programme.
Key benefits
